Rolling through the curves of Glenshire on the Roseville subdivision, eastbound Union Pacific AC 4400 CW No. 6710 slides downhill towards Reno Nevada
UP 6710, its CNW number 8808 showing through, shoves on an eastbound coal train.
CNW paint still rolls around the system quite a bit; this particular unit is a frequent visitor to the area. I decided to try to catch it in some favorable fall sun today.
UP 6710 & 7117 lead a westbound grain train.
A rather clean ex-CN&W "Operation Lifesaver" unit pulls coal loads from the receiving tracks to back them into the generation plant.
A "patched" CN&W unit leads a Powerton-bound coal train over the trestle just south of Peoria Jct.
